Mrs. Ellen Cameron, daughter of John and Mary Wedge, died at her home in 
Bushnell township Friday morning after an illness of eight weeks. She was born 
in Harley, Canada, December 9, 1853, and married to Niram Pettit at the age of 
18. After his death she with her two small sons, John and Emersen Pettit, came 
to Ionia. in 1897 she was married to John Cameron, who passed away seven months 
ago. The funeral services will be conducted from the home in Bushnell Sunday 
afternoon. Burial will be in the Palo cemetery.
