The Ionia Standard, Friday, March 26, 1900
Jacob Cameron, many years a resident of Ionia (on Harter street before his 
removal to Grand Rapids) was found dead in the pig-sty on his farm in Paris 
township, Kent county, on Tuesday, death being attributed to heart disease.  
He was aged 59 years.  He was still a member of Wabasis tent of the Maccabees 
of this city, in which he had a $2000 contract.
