Our citizens were shocked Monday to learn of the death of Aubrey Camp, a young lad of 15 years, very few knowing he was sick; in fact he was under the care of doctors only four days. He was born in Saginaw county, Sept. 7, 1884, and came to Belding with his parents in 1893. He was a dutiful son, a kind brother, industrious, honest and conscientious. The funeral was held at the Baptist church, Wednesday afternoon, Pastor Quick officiating, and was largely attended. The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful, the pieces presented by the employees of the Belding Shoe Co. and his Sunday school teacher being especially worthy of mention.
