Apoplexy is Cause of Death

Mrs. Charles Campbell Passes Away Near Village of Portland.

Portland, Nov. 23 – Mrs. Charles Campbell passed away at midnight Wednesday at 
her home, two miles east of this city.  She has been ill for about two weeks 
and death was caused by a stroke of apoplexy.  Mrs. Campbell is survived by her 
husband, one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Bach of Ohio, and one son, Howard St. 
Johns of this city.  Her death is mourned by a host of friends in this 
vicinity.  Funeral services were held at the house a 1 o’clock Friday.  
Interment was made here.
