JOHN CAMPBELL DIED THURSDAY
John A. Campbell, 79, well known Sunfield and Portland business man died Thursday at
his home. He formerly operated a jewelry store at Portland and later was agent for an 
automobile company in Sunfield. In 1927 he and a son Charles founded a service
business which is still in operation. Since the death of his son he had made his home with
his daughter in law.

Surviving are a sister Mrs. Roxie Kenyon.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 at the Mapes Funeral Home with burial in
Portland Cemetery.
