H. Kimball, last Saturday. Funeral services will be held from the Kimball farm home, east of Lyons, this afternoon and burial will be made in the Lyons cemetery. Mary M. Runyan was born in Ohio June 21st, 1835. In early life she came to Michigan with her parents, who settled in the village of Lyons. In 1855 she was married to Wilbur H. Canfield and went to live on the farm, three mile east of Lyons, where they spent more than forty years. To this union were born five children, three of whom are still living – Mrs. D. L. Greene of Arcadia, Florida; Geo. H. Canfield of Detroit and Mrs. W. H. Kimball. After the death of her husband in 1907, she moved to Lyons. For more than three years, she has been an invalid at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Kimball, where she died January 14, 1922, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 22 days.
