He was 71 years of age and his wife survives him. Funeral March 8, interment in Balcom cemetery. Deceased was born in England and has been a resident of the county for the past 12 or 15 years, and leaves considerable property. The funeral service for Thomas Cannam took place Thursday afternoon from the residence, South Ionia. Rev. A. M. Dodge officiated and Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Allured and Mr. Baker sang. At the funeral of Mr. Cannam in South Ionia, the Rev. Mr. Berry officiated instead of Mr. Dodge, as given in our last issue.
