Belding Banner – Thursday, 26 January 1911
Mrs. Mary Cannon, widow of Wm. Cannon, aged 87, who died at her son’s in 
Langston, was an old pioneer of this county and in an early day settled in 
Cannonsburg after whom that village was named.  She was the mother of the late 
Thomas Cannon of this city.  Mrs. Mary Cannon attended the burial service at 
Saranac last week.
