JOHN J. CANTERBURY
John J. Canterbury, 75, of Portland died Nov. 16, 1994.
Mr. Canterbury was born in Alpena Oct. 12,1919.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie; daughter, Kathy (Steve)Gilbert of Drummond
Island; son, Ron (Pam) of Ionia; four grandchildren; and one sister, Nora Hennis of Mulliken.

Services were held Nov. 21 at the Gorsline-Runciman Neller Chapel in Portland, with
Rev. Elaine Buker of the Portland United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment followed at Portland Cemetery.
