Excerpts from Portland Obituary

NELLIE MARIE (CLICK) CANTERBURY

Died. May 11, 2022-age 92 
Born April 24, 1930 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Nellie moved to Michigan in early 1950's & married John Canterbury in 1955.
Nellie was known for her beautiful quilts & her love of animals.
She helped raise her niece & nephew, many of her grandchildren & great-nieces & 
nephews.
She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, & active member of 
the Rebecca Lodge & the Red Hat Society.
She loved to travel, put together puzzles & spent time with her family.
Preceded in death by her father Cecil Click & her mother Dora Bailey, her 
brother Ken Click & her sisters Rosalie click & Roma (Weldon) Brown.
Survivors are daughter, Kathy (Steve) Gilbert & son,Ron (Pam) Canterbury, 
grandchildren, Gail Tischer, Jodi (Brad) Newell, John (Kristina) Canterbury & 
Angela (Dean) Keehn, many great-grandchildren & one great-great granddaughter 
along with half siblings;Barbara Dimit, Linda Berry, Ted (Joann) Click, Kathy 
McBride, Chris DeLane & Sister-in-law, Virginia Click.
Burial at Portland Cemetery beside her husband, John.
A private burial of cremains at a later date.
