Lorna M. Capron, age 92, of Ionia, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2005.  She 
was born on May 14, 1913 in Lowell, the daughter of Leon and Helen (Beckey) 
Weeks.  Mrs. Capron attended Lowell High School and worked for a period of time 
at A.C. Spark Plug in Ionia.  Lorna was known to her family as a gracious and 
generous person.  Lorna married Harvey L. Capron on September 29, 1934 in 
Indiana, and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1988.  She was also preceded 
in death by her parents; sister, Norma Teesdale.

Surviving are her daughter, Dawn (Robert) White of Ionia; grandchildren, Diane 
(White) Dean and David (Laurie) White; great grandchildren, Harmony Dean, 
Daniel White and James Dean; sisters, Marjorie Wilson of Battle Creek, Emma 
Weeks of Smyrna and Ella Hurley of Rockford.  

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor David White at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, 
Ionia.  Private Family Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Lowell.
