Campbell, in Sunfield, Thursday, after an illness of about 8 months, caused by cancer. Mrs. Carbaugh was born in Sebewa and was a valued member of the Rebekah lodge there. During her illness she made all plans to be carried out after her demise. Choosing as the bearers, Chas. Campbell, Frank Jackson, Otho Lowe, Callie Porter, Henry Porter and Edward Porter, all relatives. Those left to mourn her loss besides the husband are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.O. Lowe, one brother, Otho Lowe, two daughters, Mrs. Campbell at whose home she passed away and Mrs. Frank Jackson all living in this vicinity. There are also five grandchildren. Services were held at the Campbell home in Sunfield Sunday afternoon, of which Rev. Thompson had charge. Burial in Sebewa cemetery. The honorary bearers chosen by the deceased were, Mrs. Mae Knapp, Mrs. Nancy Puffer, Mrs. Bertha Alleman, Mrs. Alice Sayers, Mrs. Sarah Cooper and Mrs. Minnie Reed, all from the Sebewa lodge. Mrs. Carbaugh will be greatly missed by both neighbors and friends.
