Since the stroke he has been improving and his recovery is looked for. The Portland Observer, Thursday, November 19, 1925 Marion B. Carbaugh, former well known Portland farmer, passed away last Thursday evening at his home in Lansing following a stroke of apoplexy suffered several days previous. Funeral services were held from the residence Saturday and burial made in Mt. Hope cemetery. Mr. Carbaugh was born near Lyons, January 2, 1863. At the age of 18 years his parents moved to Sebewa township. For many years he lived on the Sebewa-Danby townline, moving to Lansing 12 years ago. In November 1893 he was united in marriage to Miss Adah Dilley who survives him. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Harry Puffer, of Sebewa; Mrs. N. B. Allen, Mrs. Minerva Murphy and Mrs. Albert Stringham, of Lansing. Two foster sons, Arthur E. Carbaugh, of Detroit, and Archie D. Carbaugh, of Lansing, are the only children.
