The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 11, 1947

Guy Carbaugh, 63, died at his home, 155 East Main street, Monday, March 10, at 
9:10 p.m. after a long illness.  He was born in Orange township July 28, 1883.

Surviving him are his wife, Leona; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Thomas of Orange; 
a son, Captain L. Carbaugh, of Langley Field, Virginia; his mother, Mrs. 
Jennie Carbaugh, of Ionia; five grandsons, and two sisters, Mrs. L. Clark of 
Lansing and Mrs. H. Ritter of Detroit.

Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home Thursday, March 13, 
at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Paul Stewart officiating.  Interment will be at Balcom 
cemetery.
