Sunfield — Funeral services for Grant Carbaugh, 77, were conducted Tuesday at
the Mapes funeral home with the Rev. Harold Arman officiating.  Interment was in
East Sebewa cemetery.  Carbaugh was born in Orange township and spent his life
in the home county.  For the past 45 years he had been a resident of Sebewa and
owned and operated the Lowe Mil west of Sebewa Corners for a number of years,
later operating a threshing outfit.  His wife died in 1931.  He died at
University Hospital Ann Arbor, Feb. 11.

He is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Helen Gilbert of Sebewa and Mrs.
Goldy Jackson of Sunfield; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ferguson of Ionia.
