      Michael Patrick Card

Died Friday December 27, 2024-age 60 of Sheridan.
Born August 10, 1964 in Ionia, son of Frederick D.& Anne M.(Hollenbeck)Card.
Mike attended Saranac Schools & graduated with the Class of 1983.
He married Carol Goldammer on May 20, 1989 in Cadillac.
Mike worked various jobs, a commercial fishing boat in Alaska, driving bus, 
working construction, driving propane truck, wine sales, beekeeping, mortgage 
company & working with his son-in-law as operations manager for flying Acres.
He loved fishing, woodworking & making wine & operated his own farm "Misty 
Meadow Alpacas".
Mike & Carol attended Community Church in Greenville.
Survived by his wife Carol Card of Sheridan, Father Darrel Walkington of Ionia, 
Children,Nathan(Morgan)Card of Cecil, Ohio,Michaela(Kyle)Baker of Milan,Kaitlyn 
(Bryan) Hammas of Howard City & Kyle (Morgan)Card of Ionia.
Grandchildren,Vada Care,Lana Card,Laramie Hammis, Lenora Micha Hammis, Amelia 
Card & Kolton Card.
Brothers, Steve Card of Saranac & Aaron Walkington of Ionia,Father-in-law Robert 
Goldammer of Evart & Mother-in-law Myrna Griep of Cadillac.
Brothers-in-law Alan (Brenda) Goldammer of LeRoy & Brad (Roxanne)Goldammer of 
Kingsley.Several nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his Father Fred Card & Mother Anne Walkington.
Funeral services will be at the Saranac Community Church on Friday,January 3, 
2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andy Croel officiating.
Visitation Thursday 4-7p.m.on Friday & one hour prior to service at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.
May make memorial contributions to Montcalm EMS or Night at Greenville Community 
Church.
