Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

RICHARD CARDINAL
Died Wednesday March 23, 2022-age 84 at Kentwood.
Born October 12, 1937 the sn of Kenneth and Idell (Stieg) Cardinal.
Graduated from Belding High School in class of 1955.
He served in the Navy reserve from 1954 to 1962.
He worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Westing House/Knoll Furniture 
Systems.
After retirements, he worked part time at Menards.
In 1955, he married his best friend the love of his live, Kay Arlene (Hardy) 
Cardinal. She died in December 2012.
Also preceded in death by his son, Scott.
Surviving are his son, David(Lisa) Cardinal and daughter, Georgia (Andre) 
Campos. Also surviving are his four grandchildren Anthony Guitierrez, Garrett 
Cardinal, Lindsay Murphy and Madison Sutton & his seven great-grandchildren 
Siana, Simone, Mateo, Braden, Coulter, Vada,& Graycen.
Also surviving are three brothers, Gene,, Jerry and Tom Cardinal.
The family is planning a celebration of Life service with the immediate family 
on Tuesday March 29, 2022.
