Margaret L. Cardinal, 100, of Belding, passed away Saturday evening, March 21,
2015, in Grand Rapids.  Margaret was born on Aug. 13, 1914, in Reed City the
daughter of Cody and Ida (Slighter) Kinney.

Margaret was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Belding, the
United Methodist Women, Royal Neighbors and the Ladies Literary Club of Belding.
 Margaret was blessed with a long life and enjoyed traveling and reading and
listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Durand Cardinal, in 1988; her parents;
eight sisters; two brothers; a son-in-law, Thomas Moore; a great-granddaughter;
a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret is loved and survived by her daughters, Norma Moore of Fowlerville,
Treva (Richard) Droski of Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Connie Shatz officiating.  Visitation will be one hour
before the service.  Private committal prayers will be in Rest Haven Memory
Gardens, Belding.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Belding United
Methodist Church or the Alvah N. Belding Library.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at the Christian Rest
Home for the loving care and many acts of kindness given to Margaret.
