LARRY LEE CARDINEL
Mr. Larry Lee Cardinel was born on June 12,1951, and passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 6,
2018, due to complications from a courageous battle with cancer.

Larry graduated from Forest Hills Central High School in 1969.  Two years ago, he
became part of their first class inducted into the sports Hall of Fame, for his great
wrestling career. He was also an All-American Wrestler at Grand Rapids Junior College 
and Grand Valley State University, where he graduated from in 1973. He was a lover of 
the great outdoors where he loved to hunt and fish.  Larry is preceded in death by his 
wife, Mary; daughter, Kimberly; and his parents, William and Marie.

Larry is survived by his children, Melissa (Daniel) Cooper, Scott (Melissa)Cardinel
and Craig (Jamie) Cardinel. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
his siblings, Will (Bonnie) Cardinel, Marie (Edward) Bernatowicz, Dee Dee Ebels,
Patricia (Mike) MacDonald, Joe (Donna) Cardinel; and his loving and devoted friend, Joyce Cardinel.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Saranac Community
Church with Pastor William Cardinel officiating.

Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Lake Funeral home in Saranac.

Memorial contributions for Larry can be made to the American Cancer Society.
