Ionia Sentinel, 18 Dec 1970

Word has been received in Ionia by Mr. and Mrs. D. VanNornum of the death of his
cousin’s husband, Clayton Carey, 73, of Grand Rapids Wednesday night.  He was a
former Palo area resident.

Surviving are his wife, Vallie of Grand Rapids and a son, Verien of California. 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at VanderPool funeral home in Grand
Rapids.  Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Palo cemetery.
