Agnes E. Carigon, 83, of Belding, passed away Friday, May 8, 1998 at 
Butterworth Hospital.  She was born November 5, 1914 in Alto to Ernest and 
Matilda Swanson Johnson.

She was married August 27, 1942 in Colorado Springs to Albert D. Carigon, and 
he preceded her in death on November 28, 1996.  She was a member of Alton Bible 
Church.

She is survived by her two children, one son-in-law and one daughter-in-law, 
Karen and Gene Lewis of Belding, Raymond and Connie Carigon of Belding; two 
grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother-in-law, 
Lilly Bencker of Alto, Signa Carigon of Wyoming, Pauline Johnson of Lowell, 
Gladys and Dale Shade of Chandler, Ariz.; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold 
and Marilyn Johnson of Caledonia.  She was also preceded in death by one 
sister, Ellen May Oesch; three brothers, Eric Johnson, Edward Johnson, Richard 
Johnson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 
Belding, with Pastor Kenneth Ford officiating.  Interment will be in Ashley 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral.  
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
