Neil O. Carigon aged 86 of Saranac passed away December 26, 2006 in Grand 
Rapids.  He was born November 12, 1920 in Clarksville the son of Delbert and 
Lillian (Weeks) Carigon.  He married Hazel M. Tyler September 8, 1941 in 
Saranac.  She preceded him in death April 16, 1997.

He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of 
the Sheridan VFW and also a member of Easton United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sons Raymond and Patricia Carigon of Saranac, Steven 
Carigon of Saranac. Daughters Helen and Julius Martinie of Arizona, Vickie and 
Jim Becker of St. Johns, Christine and Andrew Walker of Fenwick, Jodie Carigon 
Priest of Saranac.  Brother Glen and Phyllis Carigon of Ionia. Sisters Irene 
Nelson of Kentwood, Velma Kernen of Ionia. 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great 
Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.  He was preceded 
in death by 2 sisters Francis and Elsie.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00 A.M. at the Easton United Methodist 
Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger. Interment Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be 
on Thursday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone 
wishing may make memorial contributions to Easton Church or Saranac Fire Dept.
