JESSIE A CARLBACK
IONIA- Jessie A. Carlback, 83, of 604 North Jackson, died Friday at her home.

She was born October 11, 1894 in Dearborn, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert 
Mundinger.

She married Ward Carlback in Indiana in June 1930. He preceded her in death April
24, 1958.

She lived in Ionia all her married life and was a former member of the Order of
Eastern Star and the Ionia high school Band Boosters.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Neva Barcelow of Orleans; Mrs. Shirley McLeod
and Mrs. Joy Sherd of Ionia; one brother, James Mundinger of St. Johns; on sister, Mrs
Della Bennett of Sharptown, Maryland; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services are Monday at 2 pm from the Myers-Roetman funerla home with Rev. Hubert 
Callahan of Battle Creek officiating.

Burial is in Balcom cemetery.

A memorial fund is established for the Ionia county unit of the American Cancer
Society

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday and
Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

IONIA- Funeral services for Jessie A. Carlback, were Monday afternoon from the
Myers-Roetman funeral home with Rev. Hubert Callahan officiating.

Burial was in Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Ronald Sherd Sr., Ronald Sherd Jr., Joe Miller, Louie Otto, Terry Otto
and Jack Wyeth.

Following graveside services, luncheon was prepared and served to family and friends
at the residence on North Jefferson street.
