Funeral services will be held at Kingsley, Mich., Friday afternoon for Mrs. 
Clara Carlback, 35, wife of Ward Carlback, night captain of guards at the 
Ionia reformatory.  Mrs. Carlback died early Monday after a week’s illness.  
The body was returned to Kingsley where the couple lived prior to coming here 
five years ago.

Mrs. Carlback is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Rillia Nickerson, 
Jackson; six brothers, Clarence, Earl and Grant Duffy, of Lansing; Lauren, of 
East Jordan; Archie, California and Homer of Detroit.
