Bob was born on July 27, 1934, in Muskegon, the son of Fred and Helen (Landegast) Carlson. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1952 and was a member of the American Legion Post 203 of Belding, the Belding Sportsmen’s Club, the Eagles and Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Belding. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, wood working and spending the winters in Florida. He was married on Aug. 27, 1955, in Belding to Joyce Stone. Bob is loved and survived by his wife, Joyce, and their children, Marcia and Bill Dean of Niles, Dan Carlson of Long Lake, Tammy and Bill Stout of Villa Rica, Gs.; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Dorothy and Tom Arnold, James and Judy Carlson, all of Greenville. Bob was preceded by his parents and one brother, Chuck. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be private for the family. The family will greet relatives and friends at a memorial visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Belding.
