Mrs. Ella A. Carman, 90, formerly of Berlin Center, died Tuesday at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. L. F. Miller at Silver Springs, Md.

She was born January 23, 1888 in Berlin Township.  Mr. and Mrs. Carmen 
operated a store at Berlin Center for a number of years.

She is survived by a daughter, Viola Miller; two sons, Minor of Saranac, and 
Robert W. of Houghton Lake; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a 
sister Mrs. James Martinick of Traverse City and one brother Ray Minor of 
Saranac.

The body of Mrs. Carman will be brought to Saranac and will be at the home of 
her son Minor, Sunday until time for the funeral.  Service will be held at 
Morris funeral home Sunday at 2:30 pm.  Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
