The funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mr. Carmen was a native of Warren County, Ohio. He came to Berlin township when one and one-half years of age and resided in the community since with the exception of five years, one of which was spent in Saranac and four in Frankfort. He was a very quiet, reserved man but was held high in the estimation of his associates in the Berlin Center Methodist church, the Berlin Arbor of Gleaners and the Berlin Center grange, holding membership in each when he died. He leaves his widow; three sons, Dwayne and Minor of Saginaw, and Robert at home, and a daughter Mrs. Louis Miller of Saranac.
