CARNAHAN William B. Carnahan, 72, of Portland passed away April 24, 2005 at home. He was born in Indiana, Pa. Feb.27, 1933 the son of David and Mildred (Getty) Carnahan. Mr. Carnahan was a veteran of the U.S.Navy and retired in 2000 from B.O.C. in Lansing. William enjoyed watching the stock market, and also was a history buff. He was a devoted husband, father and very devoted grandfather who was always very generous and willing to help those in need. William was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Nan E (White) Carnahan. Surviving are his children, Marybeth Carnahan of Portland, Colleen Carnahan of Farmington Hills, and David Carnahan of Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Alyssa Blair Marcantonio and Christiane Theresa Marcantonio both of Portland; siblings Frank (Adeline) Carnahan Sr., of Southgate, Betty (Jerry) Kujawski of Sterling Heights, and John (Sandy) Nichols of South Lyon; many nieces and nephews.
