He has been living at Grand Rapids about two years, and has latterly been employed by the Voight Milling Co. The cause of act is not known, but it is presumed that it may be on account of financial difficulties. He leaves a wife and three children. His father and E. E. Slye went to Grand Rapids on afternoon train. Subsequent Publication: Friday, November 11, 1910 Remains of Frank Carpenter, accompanied by the wife and two of the children; Robert Carpenter, the father; Mrs. Richmond of Milwaukee, sister of Robert Carpenter; W. S. and E.E. Slye, brothers of Mrs. Frank Carpenter; Mrs. Adams of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. John Inman of this city, arrived at 10:10 Saturday. The funeral service at the Church of Christ was well attended by sympathizing friends. It was conducted by Rev. E. E. Branch of the Baptist church, and the music was by Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs. G. Maurice Phelps, with Miss Gillette at the organ. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. The bearers were: M. Dee Wilson, Fred Wortman, G. B. Fleming and Asa Burnette.
