Charles "Chuck" Carpenter

KALAMAZOO-Charles "Chuck" Carpenter, a 1964 graduate of Ionia High School, 
passed away at his home in Kalamazoo on Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by 
his family. He was the son of Richard Carpenter and Sara Jane (Bloomer) 
Carpenter

He is survived by his wife, Janice; 2 children: Cynthia (Paul) Garrod and Connee 
(John) Cross; 2 grandchildren: Brandon and Sara Olivia Garrod; brother John 
(Karen) Carpenter and several nieces and nephews, 

Cremation has taken place. A life Story Visitation where food, drinks and 
stories will be shared will be held Thursday (Dec 2) from 5-7 PM at Betzler Life 
Story Funeral Homes, 6080 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo (269) 375-2900. Funeral 
services will be held Friday (Dec.3) 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 721 Pine 
Street Paw Paw.
