The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Chandler Mason Carr, age 53, of Dorr, Mich. and formerly of Ionia, passed away 
Feb. 4, 2009 in Dorr.  He was born Feb. 1, 1956 in Ann Arbor the son of Garold 
and Vera (Steele) Carr.  He attended Ionia schools, class of 1973. 

Chandler is survived by his children, Chris (Erica) Carr of Ionia, Emily Carr 
of Ionia, Shane Carr of Zeeland and Chandler Carr Jr. of Springfield, Ohio; 
mother, Vera Carr of California; brothers, Merle (Sandy) Carr of California, 
Lanny Carr of Greenville, Nelson (Bonnie) Carr of Dorr, Darryl (Mary Jo) Carr 
of Ann Arbor, Gary (Rebecca) Carr of California and Darwin (Debbie) Carr of 
Arizona; grandchildren, Caleb and Ethan Carr of Ionia and many nieces and 
nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister Judy Reid. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, 1 p.m. at Keystone 
Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave., SE, Ada, MI.  Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions in Chandler’s name to his family.  Arrangements by Lake 
Funeral Home in Ionia.
