          SERVICES HELD FOR JERRY CARR
  Jerry Carr, 44, of Rock Falls, Ill., was fatally injured in a two car accident on
Wednesday, June 2.  He was 
born in Vermontville, November 28, 1931, the son of Gaylord and Lillian (Burton)
Carr and was a 1950 
graduate of the Woodland HighSchool.  He and his parents resided at one time on
Martin Rd., near Woodland.
   He was employed by the National Manufacturing Co., in the management division at
Rock Falls and had 
resided at Hastings before moving there a year ago.
   His wife is the former Joyce Will of Hastings.
   Surviving are his wife, two sons, Dion and Dana, both at home; and a sister, Mrs.
Gerald (Sharon) Hewitt of 
Kentwood.
   Funeral services were held Sunday at the Girrbach Funeral Home at Hastings.  Rev.
Sidney Short officiated 
with burial in the Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
   Jerry was a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Scott Carr of Lake Odessa and a
nephew of Myrtle Reed and a 
cousin of Mrs. Lloyd (Vivian) Shepard.
