George Carr Passes Away
George Carr, 89, of Ypsilanti, former local resident, passed away Saturday at a 
nursing home at Ypsilanti.

Mr.Carr will be remembered by many residents, as the family resided in the area 
when he was employed by the Pere Marquette Railway as ticket agent both here and 
at Woodbury for a number of years before they moved to Ypsilanti.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.Noreen Hickman of Ypsilanti, and a son, Berwin of 
Houston, Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. Marion Shade of rural Lowell and former neighbors of the Carr's, 
attended the funeral services at Ypsilanti Tuesday. Burial was in the Garden 
City Cemetery.
