Ionia Daily Standard, 11 May 1895

A nine years old son of Burt Carr, who lives on S.A. Watt’s farm in Keene, was
drowned in a pond west of Wm. Clark’s yesterday afternoon.  He had been dead
about half an hour when they found him.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Saranac Cemetery.]
