Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Mar 1995

Wayne A. Carrick, 75, of Saranac, died Friday, March 24, 1995, at Blodgett 
Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born May 26, 1919, the son of William and Elizabeth (Paatz?) Carrick in 
Remus.

He married Grace Witz Butcher August 24, 1956, in Saranac.

He is survived by his wife Grace; three step sons: Larry (Nola) Butcher of 
Ionia, Duane (Joy) Butcher of Ionia, David (Mary) Butcher of Port Huron; step 
daughter Sandra (James) Reynolds of Saranac; many step grandchildren and great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Lake Funeral Home with the Rev. 
Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.  Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Saranac Fire Department care of the funeral home.
