Linda D. (Meyers) Carroll, 58, of Portland, passed away on Tues., Sept. 18, 
2001.

She was born on Dec. 7, 1942 in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Homer and June 
(Wrisley) Meyers.

Mrs. Carroll was a member of the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary 
and loved her cats.  She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her 
grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, James of Portland; children, Troy 
(Linda) Carroll, Todd (Dawn Hutson) Carroll and Chard Carroll all of Portland; 
grandchildren, Shelby, Dylan and Amber Carroll; brothers, Eric (Gina) Meyers of 
Clarksville and Brett (Sue) Meyers of Lake Odessa; sisters, Ellen (Robert) 
Maynard of Portland and Suzy (Norm) Hilts of Chelsea; several nieces and 
nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor 
of the First Congregational Church of Portland at 11 a.m., Friday at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 1301 E. Grand River Ave., Portland with 
interment following at East Sebewa Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 
from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society in memory of Linda D. Carroll.
