Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 10 & 13 Sep 1955

Mrs. Della Carroll, 80, of 124 Adams street died Friday at 6:15 p.m. at the
Ionia County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Carroll was born
April 1, 1875 at Kalkaska.  She was married to William Morton Carroll in 1905 at
Kalkaska and he died in 1910.  In 1914 she came to Ionia where she had since
resided.  She was a member of the First Christian church and the Mrs. Preston
Sunday school class.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lester Covert, of Route 3, one granddaughter,
Mrs. Wayne Rouch of East Lansing and two grandsons, Stanley and Gary Covert at
home.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the
Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  The Rev. Court O. Adams will officiate and
interment will be in Easton cemetery.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Della Carroll Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock
at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  The Rev. Court O. Adams officiated and
burial was at Easton cemetery.  Pallbearers were Wayne Roush, Stanley and Gary
Covert, Frank and Gilbert Borup and Lawrence Taylor.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Roush of East Lansing,
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Borup and Gilbert Borup of Saranac and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Taylor, Mrs. Marion Taylor, Mrs. Ella Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carroll of
Grand Rapids.
