Deryl Duane Carroll, age 64, of Belding, passed away Monday, October 3, 2005 in
Belding.  Deryl was born September 1, 1941 in New Haven, Michigan the son of Leo
Francis and Marian Louise (Bailey) Carroll.  He graduated from Fulton High
school in 1959.  He married Jean July 14, 1989 in Belding.  He worked for
General Motors for 26 years until retiring in 1993.  He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife Jean Carroll of Belding; children Dwayne
Carroll and Kim of St. Louis, MI, Victor and Keicha Carroll of Clarksville, TN,
Janine Beach and Greg Allen of Barryton, and Marion and Tim Kesl of McBride;
step-children, Dana and Larry Fedewa of Lyons, Joey and Connie Butler of
Belding, Larry and Clara Butler of Palo and Rickie and Marlene Butler of Ionia;
brothers, Jerry and Connie Carroll of Crystal and Larry and Nancy Carroll of
Wyoming State; sisters Minnie Batchelder of Sidney and Cassandra Carroll of
Sidney.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and
several great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother Eugene Carroll in 1970.

Funeral Services for Mr. Carroll will be held Thursday 1 p.m. at the Lake
Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor David J. Kingsbury officiating.  Interment
Tuttle Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8
p.m. at the funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to the
Deryl Carroll family in his memory.
