                                 WILLIAM E.CARROLL

William E.Carroll, 73, of Ann Arbor died of a heart attack Tuesday evening at 
his residence.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10 am at Leddick Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Fr.Edward Orlowski of SS.Peter and Paul Church will officiate and interment will 
be at Bloomer Center Cemetery, Montcalm County.

Born at Butternut, June 13, 1899, he was the son of Seymour and Genevieve Rich 
Carroll. He lived on a farm south of Butternut and graduated from Carson City 
High School.

He graduated fro Cleary business College at Ypsilanti and was employed as 
business manager of Hall-Buick-Pontiac  in Ann Arbor many years until World War 
II when he went to the west coast as business manager for the Milner Hotel 
Chain. He retired from there in 1966 and since had made his home in Ann Arbor.

Surviving are his brother, Don Carroll of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs.Lillie 
Kilduff of Ionia, Mrs.Donna Dick of Muir and Mrs.Mary Siegel of St.Johns.
