Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday April 5, 1951

ELIZABETH CARSON DIED MON. IN IONIA

Mrs.Elizabeth Carson, 85, a resident here for about twenty years, passed away at 
a convalescent home in Ionia, Monday morning where she was a patient for about a 
week.

She suffered a fractured hip in a fall about nine months ago.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs.Chet Yager with whom she lived and several nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 8:30 at the Pickens chapel and 9 
o'clock at the St.Edwards Church with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Fr. 
Donald Farrell officiated.

The Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at the Pickens chapel.
