          VALDRICE CARTEN  1947 - 2017
   Valdrice J. Carten, 69, of Ionia, passed away Feb. 19, 2017 in Ionia.  She was
born May 13, 1947 in Schoolcraft, MI the daughter of Selvenus and Leona (Thomas) Kellogg.  
Valdrice married Robert Carmen July, 1971 in Ionia.
   Valdrice is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Carten of Ionia;
daughter, Rachael (Blaine) Zeigler of Fenwick;  grandchildren, Nolan, Parker and Micah; 
brother, Doug (Bonnie) Kellogg; sisters, Betty Kellogg, Angel (Barry) Bly and Kathleen 
Simpson.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant siblings; five brothers; and
four sisters.
   Cremation has taken place.  No services at this time.  Arrangements by Lake
