William Carter, aged 73 years, who has been in poor health for a long time, 
died Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Doyle, 510 S. 
Pleasant street.  Mr. Carter came to this city 32 years ago and was well known 
to many people here.  Funeral services will be held from the home, Thursday 
afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock.
