Lake Odessa Wave - July 26, 1962
           MARGARET J. CARTER PASSED AWAY

   Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) J. Carter, 76, of 3816 N. Cedar, Lansing passed away at a
Lansing hospital, Lansing.  
A former local resident, she had lived at Lansing for the last 38 years.  Her
husband Roy passed away May 20, 
1960.

   Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Helen Slocum of Lansing and Mrs. Maude
Richardson of Laingsburg; two 
sons Alton of Fort Bliss, Texas and Donald of Hollywood, Calif., 12 grandchildren
and seven great 
grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at one o'clock at the Gorslin
Runciman Funeral Home at 
Lansing with burial in the Lakeside cemetery.
