Belding Banner-News Thursday March 31, 1966

                               CHRISTINE H.CARTER

Mrs. Christine H.Carter age 78, of 303 Hambrook St., life-long resident of this 
area, died march 24, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.Dagmar North of Meadville, 
Penn.

Mrs.Carter was born in Lakeview, Michigan and in 1912 was married to Mr.Frederic 
C.Carter in Belding. Mr. Carter died in 1954. A life member of Doric Chapter 
No.75 O.E.S., Belding. Mrs.Carter was also a member of Grace Episcopal Church, 
Grand Rapids.

Surviving are the daughter; three sisters,Mrs.Ida Greaige and Mrs. Anna Johnson, 
both of Jackson,Mich.,Mrs.Emma Loveland of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Walter 
and Fred Petersen of Jackson,Mich.; three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday morning from the Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home 
with the Rev.Fr.Donald V.Carey of Grace Episcopal Church, Grand Rapids, 
Officiating. Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harold Hansen, Frank Key, Ray Green, Richard Dickson, Claude 
Johnson, and Ray McNaughton.
