Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Nov 1945

Mrs. Jennie Augst Carter, 70, of Lake Odessa, died at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Carl Wheeler, of Hastings, Sunday afternoon, after two months’ illness.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Carl Wheeler of Hastings, Mrs. Isaac
LeMur of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Lee Myers of Vassar, Mrs. Sanders Schipper of Kalamazoo
and Mrs. Harold Walkington of Lake Odessa, one son, Morris Carter of Lake
Odessa; five sisters, Mrs. Eugene DeBell of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. H. Bishop of
Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. John Hummel and Mrs. Robert Ainsworth of Lake Odessa and
Mrs. Andrew Geiser of Ionia, and 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 o’clock at the Methodist church at
Lake Odessa.  Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
