The Lowell Ledger, June 9, 1955


In the passing away last week of Mrs. Jay Carter, Segwun loses another old 
resident.  Mrs. Carter suffered a long illness but was cared for by her 
daughter, Mrs. Frances Kropf until her death.

Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that burial was 
in South Boston Cemetery (Ionia County), Lot #185.
