Belding Banner-News, 26 Nov 1964

Lewis L. Cartridge, 82, died November 18, at his home, 6736 Storey Rd. after a
lingering illness.  Born in Orleans township July 2, 1882, he spent his life in
the Belding area.  He was a member of Grattan Grange and Green Corners Baptist
church.

Mr. Cartridge is survived by a son, Dale B. Cartridge, Sr.; two sisters, Mrs.
Allen Hill of Fenton, Mrs. James Wright of Belding; two grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home with the
Rev. Barry Grahl pastor of Green Corners Baptist church, officiating.  Burial
was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers were:  Perry Spaulding, Dale
Cartridge, Jr., Guy Cory, Vern Parker, William Moyer and Lyle Petersen.
