She was the last surviving member of her family. She was married to John Cary December 19, 1866, at Republic. To this union were born two children, Samuel Yoder, and a daughter, Flora Pearl, who died in infancy. Over half a century ago they came to the farm in Boston township which has since been their home. Mrs. Cary was a member of the Methodist church and during the years of her strength was an active worker. Two years ago she suffered a stroke and has been in failing health since that time. A few weeks ago she injured herself in a fall and this was the direct cause of her death. Tender and loving care only served to relieve her as her infirmities were too heavy. She is survived by John Cary, her aged husband, by Samuel Cary and wife and their two sons, besides her many friends and neighbors. Funeral service was held on Thursday afternoon, Rev. E. R. Cochrun officiated; the burial was in the South Boston cemetery.
