The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 16, 1957

Mrs. Georgia T. Case, 75, of 1045 West Main street, died at the Ionia County 
Memorial hospital Sunday morning at 9:30 p.m. after an illness of one year.  
Mrs. Case was born June 1, 1882 in Ionia township, the daughter of George W. 
and Aurella Chase.  She was married to Arthur L. Case in Ionia township June 
20, 1900.

She was a member of the First Christian church of Ionia, of the Order of 
Gleaners and was a teacher having taught China paintings.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ella Hannah of Ionia and Mrs. 
Oneta Hantell of Portland, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, 
and a sister, Mrs. Eva Hubbard of Berkley.  A daughter, Mrs. Neva Walker, died 
in March 1949.

Funeral services will be conducted from the First Christian church Wednesday 
at 2:30 p.m.  The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller will officiate.  Burial will be at the 
North Plains cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the 
Stone-Kaufman funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m.
