The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 23, 1885

Royal P. Case, an old resident of Ionia, died Tuesday morning at his residence 
in “Riceville.”  Mr. Case had been in poor health for two years, and his 
demise was not unexpected.  He was buried in Highland park cemetery on 
Thursday, Rev. L. Master conducted the funeral services.
